The original EL Wire dance suit prototypes have up to 8 channels or 8 different colors of EL Wire that could be controlled on, off, or faded via WiFi directly from an iPhone or laptop.

I gotta give up some respect for what Miral, Alan and the iLuminate team have done since the prototype I gave them in 2009. They have taken this concept much further than I had ever imagined. 

Their EL Wire and LED suits have now been seen on the Black Eyed Peas, Chris Brown during the BET Awards, Christina Aguilera, America's Got Talent, Death Cab for Cutie and more.
